PRYSM on TV. Cleveland's lesbiangay youth group, Presence and Respect for Youth in Sexual Minority, was featured on the WKYC Channel 3 News Tuesday evening, December 19. The station reported on PRYSM's mailing of information packets to 150 schools and agencies serving youth. PRYSM cofounder Bob Boone was interviewed in the report.
PRYSM is a weekly, youth-led discussion and support group. In addition to the mailing, members have participated in speaking engagements and conducted community fairs at area schools to foster greater understanding of gay and lesbian youth.
There are about 40 similar groups nationwide, including two others in Ohio. These are Columbus and Cincin-
nati.
White Administration. A second meeting was held in December between representatives of Mayor White and the lesbian-gay community. Ken Ilg of Transition '90 met with Aubrey Wertheim of the Center and Loretta Mikolaj of the ACLU to further discuss community concerns for presentation to the new mayor.
Members of the ACLU's Gay Rights Project have begun working to prepare a draft anti-discrimination ordinance for Cleveland City Council, as a follow-up to the promising overtures from Mike
White.

Potluck Dinner. Everyone is invited to join us at the popular monthly potluck dinners at the Center. They're always held the third Saturday of the month, that's February 17 this month, between 6:00-11:00 p.m. Games and spirited conversation follow the chow. Bring either a main dish, salad, vegetable, beverage or dessert, and a $1 donation if you can. Come on down!

A Workshop for Women by
Kay Hagan
"The Wilderness of Intimacy:
A Feminist Looks Beyond Co-Dependency"
Date: Saturday, 17 March 1990 Time: 9:30 am 4:30 pm
Place: 2728 Lancashire Rd. Cleveland Heights Cost: $40-$75 (more if you can)
Without illusion, co-dependency, power games, rescuing, deceit, or manipulation, what is intimacy anyway? When we venture past the familiar territory of dominance and subordination in their many forms, we discover the wilderness of loving relationships among equals. But how do we act this out? What is the difference between control and connection? This workshop will explore both the practical and political aspects of equality in intimacy from a feminist perspective.
Call 932-7762 to register and for more information.
Space is limited to 30 women. Prepaid registrations of at least 10 women by March 5th or the workshop will not be held. Every effort will be made to make the workshop affordable to all interested women.
